June Perkins has some exciting news! She has been commissioned to
write poems and stories in response to the Reimagined Australian Collection of
the QACOMA, for a project called Words and Pictures. She is the first
children's author invited to do this.
June
says, ‘I have specifically written these with family and children in mind, and
the works will be up on the wall at the Queensland Art Gallery from September
to November 2018. The QAGOMA are very happy with the created works and
have also invited me to deliver a creative talk through the works probably in
