This new release from author/illustrator Sarah Jane Lightfoot is just lovely for young readers. ‘Explore the neighbourhood, meet interesting insects and discover which Australian flowers bloom through the year on your search for pollen with Little Bee!’ Gorgeously and brightly illustrated, the reader is taken on a pollen-searching journey through the calendar year.
Little Bee finds a new friend each month to accompany him on his search for pollen: January, a cicada. February, a spider. March, a stick insect. April, a ladybird. May, a beetle. June, an ant. July, a snail. August, a fly. September, a caterpillar. October, a butterfly. November, a mosquito, and December, a moth.
Young children will be engrossed in the
illustrations as they look for things on each page. This book is recommended
for children aged 0-4 years.
