by the 16-year-old protagonist, Anna Cassidy, who reflects on last summer’s Nannup Camp when she
felt like her world was falling apart.
Back at home, Anna’s parents were feuding and talking of divorce. So, Anna was
sent to summer camp so that they could have time to work things out. Initially,
it was great. In the first couple of days, Anna had established a new friend in
Sarah Harris and developed a crush on one of the camp leaders, Jake Palmer.
However, the good times are short-lived as she learns that her new
friend has gone missing! Anna does not take the news lying down and despite
being told to stay at camp, she ventures out on her own to help find Sarah.
Missing Sarah Harris is a young adult mystery novel about, broken families, friendships, secrets, and belonging.
